larissa's beef tips and noodles

brown gravy recipe which must be done first: 2 cups beef broth, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce, 1/4 cup cold water + 3 tablespoons corn starch, salt & pepper to taste. instructions: in medium saucepan bring both to boil over medium-high heat. stir in all ingredients besides water & corn starch. in a small bowl whisk corn starch and cold water. season with salt and pepper and set aside. preparing beef tips: cut 4-5 pounds goose neck(bottom round) in chunks for a stew, peel and medium dice 5 fresh carrots, cut 1 stalk celery, medium dice 1 small onion, mix goose neck with veggies in a large roasting dish, pour brown gravy over top and mix. baked covered with foil on 300 degrees for 4 hours. while beef tips are roasting you may boil 12 oz. egg noodles. add your beef tips over plate of egg noodles and your dish is complete.
