very simple, consisting primarily of julienned fresh ginger, green onion, white onion, and thin slices of very tender beef. the use of fresh ginger and the tenderness of the meat made this dish work beautifully.

sesame jumbo shrimp | sesame jumbo beef

large shrimp had a light batter coating that seemed to keep the shrimp moist, as well as help the sweet sesame sauce hang onto each shrimp.

orange chicken | orange beef

chunks of chicken were deep-fried with a light batter, and coated with a spicy-sweet sauce laced with ribbons of fresh orange zest. the orange cut the sweetness in the sauce and the richness of the fried pieces of chicken nicely.
